I tell people all the time my last name is “Young” for a reason, and along with the Family name come superior genes.
An example of that was this past weekend.
On Thursday, I met up with Tracey, one of my oldest friends for a Jazz concert at the Congressional Black Caucus Convention. However, I must have forgot it was Thursday, because after the concert we went to dinner, and I didn’t get home and into bed until 1:30 in the morning.
On Friday, we had a volunteer day at my job, which was fun and thankfully not to exhausting. Friday night was pretty quiet, so I went to get my hair done and was in bed by 12:30 in preparation for Saturday.
On Saturday, I had three events planned. I met up with Camille for breakfast at IHOP then we went to our LSS and scrapbooked from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Then I headed over to my girlfriend Diatta’s house for a movie party, which we viewed and discussed Revolutionary Road. Then I headed to Baltimore to have dinner with my girlfriend Jamila at The Oceanaire Restaurant. After a fun filled Saturday, I was back home and in bed by 2:30 in the morning.
On Sunday, I was up early and headed out to Fredericksburg, VA for my nephew Benjamin’s 3rd Birthday party.
Needless to say I keep it moving thanks to my superior name.
