I’m exhausted…

My plan was to post this on Monday, but I’ve just now come to my senses, gotten some much needed sleep, and I am conscious enough to post coherently.
After every Scraps of Color Sistah Retreat, I’m exhausted.  Beginning Thursday, the night before the retreat and lasting until Monday night, on average I get about 4 hours of sleep each night.  When I finally return home from the retreat I’m still wired and sleep deprived from all the fun, and look forward to doing it all again at the next retreat.
As always, this retreat was awesome, here are some highlights and photos from the weekend.
Breakfast at the Flying Biscuit...

This is what the retreat house looks like before we arrive…
This is that the retreat house looks like once everyone has arrived and unpacked…

During the retreat Saturday is designated pajama day, and we take full advantage of it.  During the October retreat we always visit a local scrapbook store and Hobby Lobby, and these visits are always done in our PJ.  This year we all wore pink in honor of Breast Cancer awareness.  The best part of this outing was when a lady kindly informed us we forgot to get dress this morning, and then thanked us all for wearing pink, as she was a breast cancer survivor - touching.

This past summer Camille and Tiare went to CHA (Craft & Hobby Association Trade Show), and one of the vendors were doing photo sessions with props.  Check out our version of using props…

Being the fabulous one in the group, I’m usually always dressed up.  On Sunday night we go out for dinner and this year Angie suggested everyone should get dressed up (she loved how everyone looked at my wedding).  Tiare didn’t want to make it to fancy, so she sent an e-mail suggesting everyone “cute it up”.  How do we look?

On Monday after the retreat these are the remaining usual suspects (we missed you Aysha’s), and we are always up for another photo session.   This year I moved to Atlanta and this amazing backdrop sits in my backyard…
