I joined my fellow Foodie Cliff for our monthly lunch date at The Spence.
The Spence is a place where it’s not just about presentation but about the experience of the meal. Their menu states: “Our menu changes daily with respect to what we are into at the moment, whether it’s an ingredient, band, chef or current event.”
On the day we went, here are a few of the menu options which inspired & defined them for the day
• watermelon gazpacho with tomato & radish 6$
• beet salad soft boiled egg, blue cheese & wasabi 9$
• kale “caesar” ( with or w/o grilled chicken ) 7/11$
• pork belly bahn mi sandwich & daikon kimchee 12$
• tuna tartare crispy tacos & guajillo salsa 13$
Neither of us were feeling too adventurous, so I went for the the juicy lucy, and Cliff for the fried fish sandwich. Although nothing new and exciting - the food was good.
The Spence is located at 75 Fifth St. NW., Atlanta, GA 30308, 404.892.9111 (p)
