Happy New Year 2013…

I can’t believe it January 17, 2013 and I have not posted anything for the New Year.  Well stay tuned because as Pastor Battle says, “2013 is going to be the best year of my life” and I’m looking forward to another year of new and exciting adventures and crafting projects.

My only goal for 2013 was to finally get my scrapbook room organized and all the boxes unpacked.  I am 90% complete and hope to post the big reveal by the end of the month. I will try to post the before picture, so you have an idea of what I was working with.

While unpacking all of the boxes and organizing my room I was shocked by the amount of stuff I own.  Hello, my name is Lisa Renée and I have a scrapbook addiction…  I must have about 100 mini albums (about 25 completed one), about 100 completed cards, hundreds of blank cards and envelopes, just to name a few of the things I own in excess.  There is no doubt I have no immediate plans of moving, because the thought of packing this all up again sickens me. 

I have not allowed myself to scrapbook at home until my scrapbook room is complete, and it seems like I haven’t done anything in months.  This pasts Saturday I met up with my SOC sistah’s at Archivers, and I plan on going back again this Saturday.  I have two projects in the works and hope to post them by Sunday.

Camille and I have created a challenge where we have to do a month in review project.  I plan on using the paper line from Simple Stories, so be on the lookout for these completed projects. 

I have decided 2013 is going to be the year of giving, so please leave a comment and you may be the lucky recipient of one of my gifts.
