Happy Birthday Dawn…

Today my sister Dawn would have been turning 48 years old. But six months ago on March 17, 2012, God called another one of his children home.

Dawn and I were a strange pair of sisters who fought and argued all of the time, and we were complete opposites in every possible way. No matter what our differences, she was my big sister, I loved her and I miss her every day, but I know she is in heaven and we have another angel looking after all of us.

Although my sister is gone from earth, she will never be forgotten and she has left me seven wonderful blessings so far; ShaDora, Martequa, Casheem (Elijah), Kelalee, Kelan, Daijah and Matthew. I love my nieces and nephews with all my heart, and although I am not their mother or grandmother, and could never replace Dawn or fill her shoes, I will do my best to let them know I am always there for them and my love is unconditional.
